Getting Your CDL in Order to Work for Trucking Companies in RI
By law, you must have your Commercial Drivers License (CDL), to be eligible for truck driving jobs in Rhode Island. This process begins with receiving your Rhode Island Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) after paying all applicable fees, providing required documentation, and passing a CDL general knowledge written test.
